December 23 - Welcome Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives!

Country music legends Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives are coming to Elko for the first time to celebrate their love of the West and its music! From his early teens, Stuart has explored almost every musical genre, from bluegrass to rockabilly to gospel. He’s now returned to his first love, country music, in his album Way Out West, produced by Mike Campbell (of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers). Join us in welcoming these iconic performers--Marty Stuart on guitar and mandolin; Kenny Vaughan on guitar; Harry Stinson on drums; and Chris Scruggs on bass. You’re in for a toe-tapping, spine-tingling treat of an evening!

December 4 - Announcing The Ian Tyson Show at the 35th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering!

Join us in welcoming Ian Tyson back to the intimate, 300-seat G Three Bar Theater at the Western Folklife Center in Elko, on Friday, February 1 from 12:30-1:45 pm. This 35th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering show will include songs both old and new, as well as humorous anecdotes and memories from his storied life in the music business.

But there’s another chance to see Ian Tyson! Ian will make a special appearance at the "Bridging the 49th" show on Saturday, February 2, joining fellow Canadians Corb Lund, Sid Marty and Colter Wall, and Métis fiddler Jamie Fox.
